The mission statement of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church is,
"To glorify God through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit by proclaiming the full gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. Making disciples through worship, instruction, fellowship, evangelism, and ministry".

Pastor Jeffrey White
Lead Pastor
"My vision for ministry is to exalt Jesus Christ and fulfill, to the best of my ability, with the help of Holy Spirit, the call of God on my life. It is my desire to display the love of God, evangelize the lost, disciple the believer, equip the church and minister to the community."

Pastor White was raised in a pastor's home, and accepted Christ as his Savior as a boy in Sunday School. He sensed the call of God on his life and attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough, Ontario. Pastor White began his ministry 1992 as Youth Pastor in Robert's Arm, and then served in Birchy Bay, Bishop's Falls, and Port de Grave throughout his 25 years of ministry. He is married to Andrea, and they have a twin of boys, Joel & Joshua.

"My desire is to first of all humbly submit to the perfect will of God and allow Him to work through me to touch others. I want to see lives changed, young and old, by the power of an unfailing God. As God works through me, I am willing to walk through doors that he opens."

Pastor Andrea was raised in Stanhope, NL, and sensed the call of God on her life. She attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College. In 1993, she married Jeffrey White, and in 1997, God blessed their lives with a twin of boys, Joel and Joshua. She has served with her husband in Robert's Arm, Birchy Bay, Bishop's Falls, and Port de Grave. She is passionate about ministering to children, and has a firm belief that God can use them in His Kingdom. Her husband and boys are the loves of her life, and she is proud of all of them. She loves to spend time with family, read, interact with children, and minister to women.

Pastor Jamie grew up in a Christian home on Fogo Island and attended a little church in Joe Batt's Arm where he gave his heart to Jesus as a young boy at the age of 7. He felt the call of God to pastoral ministry in those early years and shortly after was filled with Holy Ghost of baptism at the age of 12. His young years showed a passion for ministry and since that time he has always looked for opportunities to make a difference for the Kingdom.
He entered pastoral ministry in 2003 and has pastored in King's Point, Corner Brook, Bonavista, Forteau Labrador, Point Leamington, Norris Arm North & La Scie.
He is married to the love of his life Angela and God has blessed them with 3 beautiful children.
Pastor Jacob Young

“Jesus said that there are two great commandments we all ought to obey: love God and love your neighbour. My desire is to submit to these instructions so lives may be transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Pastor Jacob grew up in a Christian home in Port Saunders, “down” on the Northern Peninsula. He accepted Jesus into his heart at Kids Rock Camp as a young boy and felt the call of God upon his life as a teenager. Pastor Jacob graduated from Master’s College and Seminary in 2024 and is beginning his life of vocational ministry here in Deer Lake. He is passionate about reaching people with the love of God so Jesus may be glorified and broken hearts may be made brand new.

Krista was born and raised in Corner Brook, NL where she graduated from high school in and attended college and graduated with an office administration diploma.
She met her best friend and husband Derrick in Cormack, NL and they got married in 2000.
They are blessed with two wonderful sons Tyler and Jordan.
Krista accepted Jesus in to her heart on January 4th, 2016 and has wholeheartedly followed Him ever since.
She came to work at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church on August 5th, 2019 and loves her job. Krista loves spending time with her husband, on side by side, and relaxing at the trailer in the summer.
Lance King
Custodian/Maintenace

“Lance was born and raised in Corner Brook, and later moved to the mainland in 1990 for a job as a truck driver. In 2005, Lance returned to Newfoundland, where, in 2006, he met the love of his life Mona. In October of 2007, Lance gave his heart to the Lord, and then married Mona in 2008. Lance began work at EPC as full-time custodian and maintenance in 2014. He has one daughter named Heather, and Mona has a daughter named Dawn and a son named Bert.”
